God Is Not Playing: A Warning to Those Using Spiritual Attacks

A woman kneels and prays in ancient ruins under a crescent moon. She is surrounded by glowing shield of light and colorful wildflowers, conveying peace.

There’s something very cowardly about trying to attack people spiritually – going to witch doctors, energy workers, or using rituals to send harm toward someone’s life, mind, or finances. Real power doesn’t need to hide. This is fear pretending to be strong.

At least when someone confronts another person face to face, there’s a level of boldness, even if it’s misdirected. But secretly paying someone else to do harm? That’s not power. That’s manipulation. And it reveals a weakness of character.

The Weakness Behind Secret Spiritual Attacks

Let me be clear – God is not playing about His people. This morning, in prayer and deep conversation, God made that very clear to me. He said, “I’m not playing about the ones I’ve anointed. I’m not playing about the people who are doing the work I assigned to them – those who answered My call.”

God's Warning About His Anointed People

Here’s what many don’t understand:

Some people think only “certain” people are called by God, so they justify their actions by saying, “Well, I’m not one of them,” or, “This is just how my family does things.” But that’s a lie.

God knew you before He formed you.

He didn’t make you to walk in darkness. You don’t have to keep following what your family did. You don’t have to keep practicing what they taught you. You don’t have to stay loyal to generational bondage.

You have a choice. You can repent. You can turn to God and walk in truth. And God will forgive you. Now, the process of repentance what God asks of you that’s between you and Him. But know this: God never designed you to be ruled by darkness. And He certainly didn’t create you to be a weapon in the enemy’s hands.

The Consequences of Sowing Spiritual Attacks

But for those of you who continue to engage in these practices sending attacks, speaking curses, manipulating energy, spinning lies, slandering people, trying to destroy someone’s calling or reputation understand this:

You are sowing seeds that will return to you multiplied.

And some of you are about to see that return immediately.

Why? Because you’re targeting people who have a strong spiritual covering. You’re going after people who are walking in obedience to God. People who are on assignment. And when you do that, you’re not just coming up against a person you’re coming up against the One who sent them.

Don’t be surprised when you and the ones you’ve partnered with start losing the very gifts you were using for evil. Because those gifts were never meant to be misused. God gave you the ability to discern, speak, or see for His glory. But if you choose to use them for the enemy, there is a cost.

And make no mistake it will be worse than what you sent out. That’s not a threat. That’s a spiritual law. You reap what you sow and in this hour, God is not letting it slide.

An Invitation to Repent and Be Free

So if this message finds you, it’s not to shame you. It’s to wake you up. You don’t have to live like this. You don’t have to stay in bondage.

You can be free. You can turn around. You can choose God today.

But if you continue down this path attacking God’s people, misusing spiritual authority, and partnering with darkness – you will face what you’ve sown.

Because God is not playing.

Reflection: What the Bible Says About Spiritual Attacks?

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.– Galatians 6:7 (ESV)

Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!– 1 Chronicles 16:22 (also Psalm 105:15)

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.– Proverbs 21:30 (NIV)

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness…– Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

If you’ve been involved in spiritual practices that go against God’s will, it’s not too late. God is merciful – but He is also just. Today, you can choose to repent, break agreement with darkness, and come into alignment with God’s truth.

This is not about fear. It’s about freedom. God’s invitation is open. Choose wisely.
